Our Redeemer has a number of groups that are missing just one thing… you!
Our church office can help you connect with the right people to make introductions for any of these groups.
Senior Choir
Anyone who wishes to make a joyful noise to the Lord is welcome to rehearse with us. Pastor Howard Shane is the director. Choir meets Wednesday nights during the Fall/Winter/Spring months from 7pm-8pm. (During Advent and Lent, Choir meets after worship services have concluded.)

Handbell Choir
Anyone that desires to join the handbell choir may join! We ring hand chimes and handbells during services in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. The director is Matt Nussbaum. Handbell choir meets Tuesday nights during the Fall, Winter, and Spring from 6:45pm-7:45pm.

Brass Choir
The brass choir plays together during services throughout the year.

Guys Garage: ORLC Men’s Club
Great fellowship and relationship building with other Christian men. They meet the second Thursday of each month at 6PM. There are different activities each month.
Slowpitch Softball
This spring/summer, we are playing at Sherman Park (next to Great Plains Zoo on Kiwanis Ave) at various times each Thursday evening. Even if you don’t want to play, come cheer us on! If you are interested in playing, please let us know, and you are welcome!

LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missonary League)
We have two LWML groups at ORLC. They enjoy having bible studies and raising money for various mission projects.
Evening LWML meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM.
Ebenezer LWML meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:30PM.
Youth Group
The Youth Group has various activities involving having fun and strengthening faith for those in Seventh Grade through Twelfth Grade.


Kids 4 Christ
Kids from ages Kindergarten through Sixth Grade are invited to our Kids 4 Christ events at Our Redeemer!
K4C (Kids 4 Christ) events occur usually on the first and third Fridays of the month from September until May, and start at 5:45 PM with a meal for the children in attendance.
It’s a fun time for the kids and free babysitters for the parents!

Trail Life Troop SD-1412
We’re glad to be the home of Trail Life Troop SD-1412 and support their vision and mission.
Troop 1412’s vision is to be the premier character development organization in the Sioux Falls region to train up young men into godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens.
Troop 1412’s mission is to guide generations of courageous young men in the Sioux Falls region to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.


VBS (Vacation Bible School)
During the Summer, our church hosts a VBS event, where we welcome kids of all ages to come and learn about Christ!
Camp Minneboji
Minneboji Lutheran Camp is for students, primarily from Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations in South Dakota and southwestern Minnesota, who have completed grades 4 through 9.

Healing Hearts
Healing Hearts is a group of men and women who are at any stage of grieving the loss of a loved one. The purpose is to share in loss, get to know others, and find support within our church family. Meetings occur monthly on the first Thursday at 10AM.
S.A.I.L. Classes
Parish Nurse Karen Morfitt leads our SAIL class, an exercise class focused on strength and balance every Monday and Thursday at 1:30PM.
Senior Saints Bible Study
Senior Saints Bible Study meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1PM.
Senior Saints Brunch
Senior Saints Brunch meet at Perkins on 41st Street the second Thursday of every month at 9:30AM.
Wednesday Adult Bible Study
Adult Bible Study meets each Wednesday at 6PM (except during Advent and Lent), led by Rev. David Morfitt.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month at 6:30PM.
